This is a short kids' story about a Fox and a Monkey with a moral at the end.
There were two friends, Jessie, the fox and Monty, the monkey. Although they were good friends Monty was a little jealous of Jessie. This is because Jessie was very rich and her family was one of the richest in the town.
One time Jessie and Monty were walking near the park. As they were walking, Jessie was boasting about how rich their family is, how much money their grandparents have given in inheritance. How luxury their life is and how beautiful their home is etc etc. Monty was listening to all this however he didn't react.
While walking they passed a graveyard. The graveyard had lots of big and expensive head-stones over the tombs. Suddenly Monty started speaking,"Look over there". These graveyard tombstones are the servants of my family. Now you will know even my family was very rich that even my servants had such rich tombstones.
Jessie laughed at this and said, "My friend! No one can believe your truth as all these people are dead. Do you really want me to believe these people who can't get up and speak the truth?"
Monty realized his mistake and said sorry to Jessie for his childish behavior. They became good friends again and Monty never got jealous of Jessie again.
