You get what you give! | Inspirational Story

Today's story is a short story that gives a very important lesson of life, "You get what you give!"

Once upon a time, there was a farmer named Ben and his dog named Bingo. Ben was very hardworking and after working hard in the farms and raising milk from the cows, he used to prepare very good quality butter to sell to people.

One of the buyers of this butter was his street baker. The baker's name was Brownie. Brownie used to one pound of butter from Ben every day to prepare bakery items for her bakery.

One day Brownie thought, "I take butter from Ben every day but I haven't weighed it. Let me weigh it today", and she started weighing it. It was less than a pound.

She took Ben to the court citing that Ben is cheating and not giving the proper weight of butter to me.

The judge asked Ben if he uses any measure to weigh the butter. Ben replied, ‘Your Honor, I’m primitive. I don’t have a proper measure, but I do have a scale.’

The judge replied, “Then how do you weigh the butter?”

Ben replied; “Your Honor, long before Brownie started buying butter from me, I have been buying a pound loaf of bread from her. Every day, when Brownie brings the bread, I put it on the scale and give her the same weight in butter. So if my butter is not one pound it means that the bread is also not one pound. So the real culprit is Brownie, not me."

Hearing this the judge gave a punishment to Brownie, not Ben for doing the cheating in the first place. Brownie learned her lesson and never repeated the same mistake again.

Moral -

Dear Friends!!
"You get what you give in life. Say for example if you study well, you get good grades, if you work hard in the office, you get good promotions, on the other hand if you are too lazy and don't do anything for yourself, guess what! you also will not get anything in return from the world."
