Merchant and the Woodcutter | Inspirational

A very strong woodcutter was looking for a job.He went to a timber merchant where he got a really good pay job. He was very determined and dedicated to his job. The merchant gave him an ax to work and showed him the work area.

Woodcutter started his job with a lot of enthusiasm. On his first day, he brought 18 trees.

"Congratulations," the merchant said. Now go that way!"

He got more motivated and tried harder next day, but he could bring only 15 trees. Third day he tried even harder but could get only 10. It was the decreasing every day. “I must be losing my strength”, the woodcutter thought. He went to the merchant and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

The merchant waited for a minute and asked the Woodcutter, “When was the last time you sharpened your ax?”

“Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my ax. I have been very busy trying to cut trees…”

Its the same way in life we are very busy and getting busier every day. We are working hard but neglecting the truly important things in life, our personal life, time to get close to our Creator, more time to family, introspection etc.

Moral :-

Dear Friends!! "Life is busy and if you want success you will work harder and even get busier. But don't forget to take a break, stay sharp and take time for yourself too. Take time for the things like your family, meditation, inner peace, time to think, time to relax."
