Lalu, Dholu and the Three Wolves | Kids Story

Lalu the goat and Dholu the lamb was feeling sad as they recently had to move out of their old home. They packed their stuff and started going towards the forest. Suddenly they saw a wolf's head lying on the ground. They picked the head, put it in their bag, and continued the journey.

In the journey, they came to a place where there was a bonfire happening. They thought to spend the night there to save themselves from the wolves of the forest.

As they entered their eyes got wide open. They couldn't believe in their eyes. It was the wolves who were celebrating there and preparing their food."Good evening! Mr. Goat and Mr. Lamb! We are preparing the food. Have some and then we will eat you both", said one of the wolf. Both Lalu and Dholu got scared to death.

However, Lalu after controlling his emotions came up with an idea to save themselves. He said to Dholu, "Let's have a look a that wolf's head we have got in the bag".

Dholu took the wolf's head and showed him. “No, not that one. Let’s have the other bigger one!” And again the lamb gave him the same head, but he said, “No, not that one either! Let’s have the largest of all!”

And the wolves looked and thought the lamb had a whole sackful of wolves’ heads, and each one of them said to himself, “Well, these are nice guests to have! I’d better hop off!” And the first one said aloud to the others, “I like your company all right, brothers, but somehow, the food doesn’t seem to be boiling very well. I’ll just run and fetch some sticks to throw on the fire.” And as he went off, he thought to himself, “You and your company be bothered!”—and never came back.

Then the second wolf kept thinking how he could get away, and he said, “It seems very funny, our brother went to fetch the wood, but he hasn’t brought the wood, and hasn’t come back himself. I’ll just go and help him!” So off he went too and never came back. And the third wolf was left sitting there, and at last, he said, “I must really go and hurry them up. What are they searching all this time for!” And as soon as he was gone, he set off running and never so much as looked back.

All the three wolves went like that. In between Lalu and Dholu were happy. They ate all the food prepared by the wolves and then ran away.

Moral:-

Dear Kids, "In times of difficulty or danger, take a deep breath and think for the solution to get rid of the problem and you will definitely get it!!"
