Cinderella | Kids Story

Once upon a time, there is a beautiful girl named Cinderella which lived with her cruel stepmother and two stepsisters. The Stepmother and the sisters never do any work and poor Cinderella was forced to do all the housework. Poor Cinderella gets tired by doing all these works and could not even get rest. The poor girl could not stay clean, from all the ashes and cinders by the fire.“What a mess!” her two stepsisters laughed. And that is why they called her “Cinderella.”
One day, a big news came to town. The King and Queen organized a grand party. It was time for the Prince to find a bride. All of the young ladies in the land were invited to come. Every girl wanted to be the bridge of the Prince so they started preparing for their best gowns and beauty.

How can the stepsisters of Cinderella not be ahead in this race of being the bride? They told Cinderella to make two brand new gowns. Both the sisters and the mother screamed at Cinderella.
Cinderella could not get time to make her own dress as she also wanted to see the party.
Soon the time came for the stepmother and step-sisters to leave for the big party. Their fine carriage came to the door. The stepmother and step-sisters hopped inside and they were off.

“Good-bye!” called Cinderella.“Have a good time!” But her stepmother and step-sisters did not turn around to see her. Cinderella was very sad. All of a sudden in front of her, came a Fairy. Cinderella couldn't understand anything. She asked innocently, "Who are you?"

"I am your Fairy Godmother. I have come to fulfill your wish.", said Fairy.

She tapped her wand on Cinderella's head and suddenly Cinderella was all clean and dressed up in a beautiful blue gown. Cinderella was very happy. The smile on her face was so precious.

She tapped her wand again and a beautiful carriage came, with a driver and four white horses. Cinderella was on cloud nine. However, the fairy told one condition that before midnight you need to come back as all of this will go away, and then she left.

Cinderella was astonished. She stepped into the carriage and they were off.

At the party, the Prince was not so happy. He met many women but he didn't feel connected with anyone. And then came the beautiful Cinderella. Cinderella was feeling shy but also happy. Prince looking at Cinderella felt alive. Without wasting any time he asked her for a dance. They both danced and kept on dancing.

Time passed quickly and "Ding Dong!", said the clock. It was almost midnight. Cinderella said I have to leave now. Although the Prince didn't want her to leave Cinderella had to rush. It was midnight. 

The Prince follower her but could only get one of the glass slippers of Cinderella. 

“This is all I have left from her,” he said, looking down at the glass slipper.

From hut to hut, from house to house, went the Prince. One young woman after another tried to fit her foot inside the glass slipper but none could fit. And so the Prince moved on. At last, the Prince came to Cinderella’s house.

The cruel stepsisters tried to fit their foot also in the slipper but it couldn't fit. Cinderella got to know that Prince has come looking for her. She came and tried that slipper even thought the stepsisters and stepmom tried hard to stop her. The slipper was an exact fit and the Prince finally got her Cinderella.
The Prince married Cinderella and they lived happily ever after.
