Power of Belief - The Elephant Rope | Inspirational Story

There was a man named Raman. One day he was passing along outside the circus and he saw big elephants tied to a very small rope to their front leg. He was very curious and confused after seeing this. He talked to himself, "There is no chain. no cage still the elephants are not breaking from their bonds."

Raman saw a circus trainer nearby and asked why these animals are making no attempt to run away.
The trainer smiled and said, "When they were very young and brought here, we started controlling them by tying with a small rope, enough to hold them. The Elephants tried to go but because of Rope, they couldn't. As they grow up, their belief became stronger that they cannot break the rope. We never changed the size of the rope and the elephants never try to break free again."

The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.
