Once upon a time, there was a farmer with a herd of sheep and a dog named Tony. One day when the farmer was not around, Tony was relaxing in the sun, playing with the bone. Little far all the sheep were talking with one another and working hard.
One of the sheep saw Tony relaxing and thoughtðŸ’, "Tony get to relax all day in the sun, and we work hard every day. She told the same thing to all the other sheep. Hearing this every sheep realized, that in fact, this is true. Another sheep from the herd said, "Yes we must do something for this. We should talk to the farmer about this."
In the evening when the farmer came back, all the sheep went to the farmer and told their concern. One of the sheep told, "Tony gets a treat from you for being a hard worker, every day. However, what he does every day is just lying around and relax. We provide you with wool & milk but we never get such treats."
The farmer after thinking for a minute agreed that the sheep's concern is true. He said, "Sure I understood your concern. I will change it."
Next day the sheep were very excited. They were eagerly waiting for the treats. But what they saw shocked them. There were no treats, instead, the farmer took Tony with him while going away from the farm.
It started to get dark and the farmer didn't return yet. The sheep were all alone. They heard the voice of a wolf. They got scared. The wolf was approaching to eat the sheep. Suddenly Tony came to the farm and barked loudly. This scared the wolf and she changed her direction.
All the sheep thanked Tony for saving their lives. Tony asked, "Do you still think I am not hardworking and I am lazy ?" All the sheep said, "No! not at all. We now know how hard-working you are and how important you are to the farmer and us."
