Its Never Late | Inspirational Story

There was once a man, who can easily be identified by his clean, crisp white suit, black string tie, and a walking cane. His name was Colonel Harland Sanders. Don't know this person? Think again! If you know about KFC then you might be knowing because he is the one who created KFC.

Sanders was born on 9th September 1980. Since childhood only he had developed a keen interest in cooking and his skills got well. Soon in his life after working in different places, he franchised his secret recipe "Kentucky Fried Chicken". He started getting 0.04 cents for every chicken the franchise used to sell. Everything was going so well.

But every good thing can come to an end. After age 65 he decided to sell his North Corbin restaurant because of an Interstate which reduced the traffic to his restaurant. Now he was an old man, at the age of 65 with just $105 a month coming from social security and his remaining savings he decided to do something again.

He knew his Chicken Recipe had something special. He left Kentucky and traveled to different states to try to sell his recipe. He told restaurant owners that he had a mouthwatering chicken recipe. He offered the recipe to them for free, just asking for a small percentage on the items sold. Sounds like a good deal, right?

Unfortunately, not to most of the restaurants. He heard NO over 1000 times. Even after all of those rejections, he didn’t give up. He believed his chicken recipe was something special. He got rejected 1009 times before he heard his first yes.

With that one success, Colonel Hartland Sanders changed the way Americans eat chicken. Kentucky Fried Chicken, popularly known as KFC, was born. KFC became the popular chain not only in America but now all over the world.

He is truly inspirational not only because he created KFC but because he thought of doing it at the age of 65.

Moral:-

Dear Friends!!
"See near you, how many people give excuses of age, money, situations, responsibilities and don't do what they really want to do. This is your time, this second. If you believe in something go for it. It is never late to start, the important point is that you start."
