This is the story of Robin Hood, the Prince of Thieves. Long long ago a boy had been cheated by a few noblemen in England. Since then that boy decided to never spare any rich people. He made his life's motive to rob the riches and give to the poor. That boy's name was Robin hood and he used to live in Sherwood Forest, England. He was often known as the Prince of Thieves.

The Sheriff of Nottingham tried multiple times to capture him, he even put many rewards for the capture of Robin Hood but yet no luck. This is also because Robin Hood was not alone. He had a number of men who made him the leader and follow him. They were the informers for him and used to warn him against any upcoming Sheriff's plan.

Because of Robin Hood, the riches started to avoid the Sherwood Forest. The Sherif after multiple unsuccessful attempts to capture Robin Hood thought of a plan.

"Let us have a competition to choose the best shooter in Nottingham. Robin Hood cannot resist such a competition. He will surely come, when he does, my guards will capture him," he told his noblemen. All of them agreed.

Robin Hood was indeed an excellent artist in using bow and arrow. He was a very good shooter. Although his loyal men told him that this plan is to capture him, he didn't want to miss out on this opportunity to prove that he was the best.

So, the next day all the arrangements for the competition were made. The crowds were all seated and around ten contestants were there. The Sherif turned to one of the guards and asked in a whisper, "Has Robin come?" "No, Your Highness, Robin has red hair. None of the contestants have red hair."

Yes! Robin Hood had Red Hair and thus the whole plan was to identify the contestant with red hair. However, there was no one visible in red hair in the competition. Soon there were two finalists, one William, the Sherif's man and the other person in a green outfit.

It was the last arrow to be shot which will decide the winner. William took the first turn and his shot was very very close to the center. Now the turn for the man in green. The Green man's arrow went through William's arrow and it was the Bull's Eye. He won and within the blink of an eye, he shot two more arrows towards each side of Sherif's chair. Everyone was shocked.

The man in green was none other than Robin Hood. Before the Sherif recovered, he pulled off his black wig, threw it in the ground, jumped over a wall on to his waiting horse and was gone. "Get him, you fools. That is Robin Hood," shouted the helpless Sherif but it was too late. Robin Hood had escaped again.

Moral:-

Dear Kids!!
"Robin Hood was a thief. Although he was doing good work at that time because he was taking money from the corrupt nobleman and giving to the poor people in need. His way was not right but his intentions were.  Just like him you also should think good for the others and help those in need but in the right way."
