Bholu, Chunnu and their Donkey | Kids Story

There was a man Bholu. He was like his name, a very innocent and simple man. He had a son Chunnu. He was also like his father. They both very living happily in a village. Where one side in the village these good people were living, there were also some naughty boys who always play tricks on Bholu and Chunnu.

One day Bholu and Chunnu were crossing a river. They had Dholu also with them. Dholu was their donkey. On the way, the naughty boys came and started teasing the father and the son. One of the boys started saying, "Look how foolish Bholu is, even though he has a donkey, Chunnu is still walking and not riding on the donkey."

Hearing this Bholu thought, "He is right! Chunnu is a kid why to let him walk alone." and he put Chunnu on the donkey.

They just started walking for a few more minutes, another naughty boy came near Chunnu and told him, "What kind of son you are, your father is walking and you are enjoying on the donkey! You should change places with him". Listening to this Chunnu told the father to switch place with him and then they continued the walking.

It was around 100 more steps for them, that another whisper came from a naughty boy. "The donkey can take the weight of both people. Why only one of them is riding ?" Bholu and Chunnu saw each other for a second and they decided to ride the donkey together.

The donkey couldn't take the weight for longer and he collapsed. The boys then express their disgust at the duo for ill-treating the donkey and advice that they take the donkey to an animal doctor. The duo again follows the advice.

On the way, they come across barking stray dogs. In the confusion that ensues, the donkey falls into the flowing river. The donkey is lost forever and both Bholu and Chunnu became sad.

Always think before executing any advice from others. Listen to all but do what your mind and heart think is right for you.
