How many Crows in the Kingdom | Akbar Birbal

It was a beautiful morning time on the day of summer. King Akbar and Birbal were taking a walk in the palace of gardens and were admiring the natural beauty. There were also a lot of crows in the garden. Watching the crows one question popped up in Akbar's head. He asked Birbal, "how many crows are there in our Kingdom ?"

Birbal thought for a moment and then replied, "My Majesty! There are 95463 crows in our Kingdom."

Emperor Akbar was both happy and surprised on this quick answer from Birbal. He wanted to test Birbal again, "What if there are more crows than you answered?” Without hesitating, Birbal replied, “If there are more crows than my answer, then some crows are visiting from other neighboring kingdoms”. “And what if there are fewer crows”, Akbar asked. “Then some crows from our kingdom have gone on holidays to other places”.

Akbar laughed on the answers and praised Birbal for his wittiness and prompt answers.
