God Helps Those Who Help Themselves | Kids Story

There was a village which was close to a very large forest. In the same village, four friends, Raj, Rohan, Ravi, and Rajesh were living. Once they all were invited to attend a marriage function in the nearby village. However, the village was across the forest.

All the friends decided to go to the marriage together as they thought it is better to be together while crossing the forest.

On the day of the marriage, they started their journey early in the morning, so that they could cross the forest before darkness falls. They were going in good speed and by noon, they had crossed more than half the way.

All of a sudden, Raj stopped everyone. Rohan and other friends were surprised at why Raj stopped all of them. Raj was knowing that this area in the forest is known for Tigers. He said,let us check for tigers first then we will proceed.

They all looked here and there. At this moment, Rohan saw the tail of a tiger behind the bushes. He trembled with fear and cried, "There is a tiger behind the bushes! Now, what do we do? How can we save our lives?"

Rajesh said, "Do not be afraid of the tiger. Have faith in God. We should pray to God. He will protect us."

However, Raj climbed up the tree and said to his friends, "Do not waste time in talking. Quickly, climb up a tree. God helps those who help themselves. Be quick. Save yourself."

Rohan and Ravi listened to Raj and they also climbed the tree. Rajesh was still praying in the ground. He was having faith that God will help him and he doesn't need to do anything.

After a minute the tiger came and he saw Rajesh. He quickly jumped onto Rajesh and ate him. The other friends were saved but Rajesh unfortunately died.

Moral:-

Dear Kids!!
"We should have faith in God but God only helps those who help themselves. We should work hard and then God will help us but without doing anything even God doesn't help anyone."
