Sonu and Monu Monkey | Kid's Bedtime Story

This is a kid's short story about two monkeys Sonu and Monu where one was very wise and the other one not so much.

There was a small forest where two monkeys named Sonu and Monu used to live. Every day both would go to a nearby village to find food. Sonu was wiser and would act accordingly but Monu would do anything without thinking.

One day both of them reached a small village to find food. Beautiful big trees were planted near the pond of the village, and very delicious looking fruits were hanging on those trees. On seeing him, Monu's mouth became watery.

This is one of the stories from Mahabharat when Arjuna, one of the Pandavas was training under his Guru DronaCharya.

Once upon a time, Guru DronaCharya overheard Duryodhana, one of the Kaurava, talking that Guru always favors Arjun and he never put that much focus on other disciples like him. Guru could have talked to Duryodhana at that time but he thought of a better way to tell everyone that Arjuna is indeed his best disciple.
