This is an Indian mythological story about Ganesh and Kartikeya's race around the world with a moral.

One day Narad Muni, the son of Brahma and a big devotee of Vishnu, came to Kailash Parbat (Mountain). Kailash Parbat was the place where Lord Shiva lived with his wife Goddess Parvati and two sons, Ganesh and Kartikeya. Narad was famous for one more thing, he was the messenger and also mischievous.

पिंकी एक तीसरी कक्षा में पढ़ने वाली लड़की थी। उसे स्केटिंग का बहुत शौक था इसलिए उसकी मम्मी ने उसे उसके बर्थडे पर नए स्केट्स ला कर दिए। पिंकी की खुशी का ठिकाना ना था, वह जल्द से जल्द स्केटिंग करने जाना चाहती थी। 

पिंकी स्वभाव से काफी चंचल थी और इस कारण उसे हर चीज जल्दी-जल्दी करने की आदत थी। अगले दिन जब वह स्केटिंग करने गई तो सड़क पर स्केटिंग करते वक्त वह जोर-जोर से और तेजी से स्केटिंग कर रही थी। उसकी मम्मी ने यह सब खिड़की से देखा, और उन्हें पिंकी की काफी चिंता हुई। उसकी मम्मी को चिंता थी कि कहीं पिंकी अपने आप को घायल ना कर ले।
