अंगूर को देखते ही लाली लोमड़ी के मुंह में पानी आ गया। उसने सोचा, 'यह अंगूर तो काफी स्वादिष्ट और मीठे दिखाई दे रहे हैं, आज इन्हीं को खाकर मैं अपना पेट भरूंगी।' इतना सोचते ही उसने अंगूर की बेल की ओर बढ़ना चालू कर दिया। पास आकर देखा तो अंगूर की बेल काफी ऊंची थी।

Then he called his son and told him, "Manu, I'm going to the city to purchase some medicines for your mother. It will take me two or three days to come back. So take care of the sheep. Save them from being attacked by the tigers and wolves. There are many wild animals in the nearby forest. They might kill our sheep."
